It's Me!!!!

How do I officially spell my name? Well, it 's Nukoolkit; not COOL as i make it up here..Haha...In Thai, it is นุกูลกิจ.  Every Thais' names have meanings. Mine means whatever i do, i will succeed. This is what my parents want it to mean. However, one day I accidentally click on the link to Blogthings.com. This site tells about how i am through my name. It's silly I know. But every words they say, i promise, it's me.

Thailand, the Land of Freedom?

Thailand is my mother country. I do love her. The word Thai (ไทย) is not, as commonly believed to be, derived from the word Tai (ไท) meaning "free" in the Thai language; it is, however, the name of an ethnic group from the central plains (the Thai people). A famous Thai scholar argued that Tai (ไท) simply means "people" or "human being." However, in mind the Thais seemed to have accepted the alternative meaning and will verbally state that it means "Land of the free".

However, i don't think that we are that "Free." Moreover,our mind is prisoned.

Normally Thai people feel like they are free, being able to be, do, or say whatever they want. Well, in a way it is. We are free under the so called "democratic constitution". But actually I think that our minds have already been programmed; in others words, we are not freed yet even today after the coup has left from the power. "Collectivism" in this society and the "Monopoly" of the Media are two main reasons behind.

How does the collectivism prison us? In Thailand, people care so much about what the others would think about them. We "need" to be recognized, and appreciated. One obvious thing as example is about owning Mercedez. I many times see some people drive it proudly. But have no money to buy even a house. The Reason is that people can see their car, not so often the house. They need that kind of silly car to look "cool" and, in oder for the privilege in this country where power distance is great.

For me? I also do things because of the "face". Honestly, it is one reason i'm doing my master now. However, i am lucky in the way that i like it.

Terrestrial TV is another factor. More than 20 years before i can afford cable TV, I had watched those free TV. And now I realize out that the way i think and what i behave are mostly influenced by it. Thai people, including me, think and do things in the same way. How can we hate "something" when there is "buzz" telling it's that "good" every day. We have no choice, we gotta to love it. Even now, i gotta censor myself mentioning about it. (Guess of what i'm mentioning here)

My mind has been programmed for 2 decades already. And these days i've been trying to free myself.

Personally, I think my country lacks of " Innovation". This is the reason why we are just here.

Anyway, i still love my motherland. Even i don't think like her anymore.

Can Favorite Song tell the way u r ?

Some people say that favorite songs tells the way people are. Well, I disagree.

The Song above, Do You Have a Sister By CASH, is one Thai song i like, one of not many albums that i bought. I like it without many reasons. Sound and feelings inside are cool and touching. Anyway, please dont judge me from the song i post it up above no matter how you guys translate. Well, for me, i listen to different kinds of songs to different situations.

"Songs in the society " This refers to Songs that I listen when i am with others. To have fun with friends, fast beat and hip ones can help. To touch someone, turn on the songs that they would like also helps. Morover, to look cool in the eyes of some people, turn on the songs that r cool in the ears of those. This seems practical from my experience. In this sense, songs are like tools to get something.

However, when I'm in privacy, alone with myself // in my apartment or in my car. Songs I listen to vary. Actually, it depends on my emotions, and what i need to do in different situations. When I gotta study or do something i need to concentrate. Believe it or not?? i listen to classic songs like Mozard!!! Sounds like not me? Hahha.That's me, but in just one dimension. Here, i can tell that you guys can not judge people from their look.

On the other hands, when I want something to push me up, and fight ahead, ROCK music is turned on to help. It gives me power and energy to do something faster and more enthusiastic.

There are also other kinds of songs I listen to, but let me stop it here unless it's gonna be too long for you guys to read. But last words are here;

"Difference Appreciation" is One thing i ve learned from listening to the variety of songs. Some people just say NO even when it s yet not started. This is not the right way to be a good learner.

In a way, however, Certain kinds of songs are for certain kind of people. Old songs , for example, can make you guys understand more your mom and dad. Moreover, Listen to Alternative songs (not mainstream ones) can also help us learn and feel something different from diferent kinds of things.

"Trying to open ears" This could create us "more thing "to appreciate, feel something different, and be out of our small world box.

Make the HaPpyNesS as my Goal !! Best WaY!!

Finally i realize out what can make me happy. Well, this is not something new, but people always forget. Set the "Happiness" as the goal. Whatever you are doing, your goal is to be happy. That's it. Let's make it fun, and enjoy!!!

What makes me happy?

One day has only 24 hours 1,440 minutes and 86,400 seconds. Most of my days are normally spent for working and studying. What for? does this make me happy?

To be successful in job and school is my goal. Everytime the results are good, I'm happy, but easily disappears. This automatically pushes me to do more and more and never ever been able to stop.

Let me pause it here, and think about it. What can make my happiness last longer??

Welcome to my life!!!

Before, i wonder why people write about themselves and show everyone, what for? I dont know exactly the reasons for them. But for me, i decided to write this because i wanna revise my life , make it better and share it.

25 Years in this small world is so fast, but not easy. The world has been pushing me to be here, doing master's degree while also working in a PLC., telecommunication service provider. This is like a process that everyone's gotta do here in Bangkok, Thailand.

Before i'm here, you know i used to have a music album with also a PLC. Looks like fun? Feel like a star? Yeah, but i know it will definitely be just a matter of time. The company called me just yesterday talking about new album project. That makes me happy because it's one thing i love. Whatever, I'm now living in a world of reality, making my today quote " That's how it is". Being an artist is one thing that might get into my life again, which is good. However, I don't wanna be too pushy about this thing which is uncontrollable, so then now with certain thing in a box of routine office jobs, and my boss is calling me now. Gotta go, see ya!! Haha..
